This policy explains what personal information Dinkwell collects when you visit dinkwellpaddles.com or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Order information. When you check out, Stripe collects your name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing addresses and payment details on our behalf. We receive your order details and contact information. We never receive or store your full card number.
- Messages. If you email us, we keep the message and your email address so we can reply.
- Technical information. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views; it sets no cookies and doesn't follow you across other sites.
What stays on your device
Your cart and your compare list are saved in your browser's local storage so they're still there when you come back. They aren't sent to us until you check out. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies.
How we use it
- To process, ship and support your order, including order and shipping emails.
- To answer your questions and handle returns.
- To prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We don't send marketing email unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
- Stripe, to process payments.
- Shipping carriers, to deliver your order.
- Cloudflare, which hosts and protects the site.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it for targeted advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as tax and accounting rules require, generally up to seven years, and messages for up to two years.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. Some order records must be kept for legal reasons. California residents have the right to know, correct and delete their personal information and to opt out of its sale or sharing; we don't sell or share it. We won't treat you differently for exercising these rights.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and payments are handled by Stripe. No method of storing or sending data is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
This site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
